AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is a reputed entrance exam for the postgraduate level. This exam is conducted by the Association of the Indian Management Schools (AIMS). Through this entrance test, students get the admission in the member management institutes of the AIMS. This exam is recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It is conducted on an all India basis, and the score of this exam is required to take admission in MBA, PGDM and other Postgraduate courses including MCA. Based on the acquired percentile, candidates can get admission in any B-school in India. Almost 200 Business Schools in India accept this score.
To cater to the demand of high quality tests, AIMS started ATMA that carries a believable and comprehensive aspect. Since 2000, ATMA has played a credible role in selecting candidates with an aptitude for a management education.
Exam pattern :
The exam pattern is well designed and follows several parameters. Applicant's skills are measured properly in this exam. In the syllabus, Verbal Reasoning, Comprehension, Analyzing and synthesizing abilities, Numerical reasoning are all included. This exam judges three main skills including Quantitative Skill, Analytical Reasoning Skill and Verbal Skills.. In ATMA, the total number of questions are 170, and the exam is scheduled for 3 hours. The exam is divided into 6 sections, and each section has a specific time limit. The acquired scoreare validated till the commencement of the next academic year.
Eligibility for ATMA:
·         Completion of Graduation from any recognized university is the basic criteria for ATMA
·         Graduation in any discipline is accepted
·         The minimum age limit of the applicant set by AIMS is 21 years
Important Dates for ATMA:
·         The online Test is scheduled on 9th December, 2012 from 2 PM to 5 PM
·         The registration process starts from 10th October, 2012
·         The last date for registration is 5th December, 2012
·         Results will be declared on 20th December, 2012
The Process to apply for the ATMA Exam :
ATMA maintains the online and offline application process. Candidate can collect the form from the selected branches of several banks or the distribution centres mentioned in the official ATMA website. They can download the form by logging in the official site Applicant can pay the registration fee of Rs. 1050/- by using the debit or credit card. The payment is accepted from 10th October,2012 to 5th December, 2012. Candidate needs to make the payment by 2 PM on the last day. Net banking and online payment is also available. For net banking, the candidate needs to use the information mentioned below.

For online application, the candidate needs to put their detailed information along with PID that will be provided by ATMA. The Roll number of the candidate will be shown on the completed application form. In the application form, candidate can select any three participating institutes. The acquired score will be communicated to those institutes automatically. Additionally, the applicant can choose two test centres as per their convenience.
The admit card can be downloaded from the official website by using the PID and the candidate's DOB from 4th December to 8th December,2012. For any further clarification, the candidate can mail along with individual PID and the Test date.
